BMW V8 M3 Swap

   First I want to show you a V8 (old M5 engine) powered E30 Alpina M3 which is SUPER CLEAN. I have a thing for E30s and this one is just perfect (color choice, wheel setup, everything is perfect and time appropriate for the look of the car).

Compared to the previously featured green E30 M3, this one is a totally different beast.
The bumper indents have a stripe to mimic the Evo III. The silver accents matches the theme of the silver BBS LM, which looks to be 18″. A pair of Startec smoked tail lights complete the rear end. The car has a pair of E36 M3 rear view mirrors. I don’t feel that they match the E30 M3 body style. I would much prefer a pair of ACS or DTM mirrors.
The engine bay no longer houses the S14 engine, but instead a S62 V8 engine from the E39 M5. I’m always surprise at how people are able to swap in V8/V10s into the E30 M3 engine bay. I’m sure that it is a very snug fit.
The green and silver/grey theme carries into the interior. It has a full rollcage for added safety and rigidity. The bucket seats keep the driver and passenger planted during the violent acceleration.
