«Anyhow, since Bimmerfest we took the head off the motor, and replaced it with the head from the s54 I plan to use for a turbo project. While we had the head off, I decided to order a one size thicker MLS head gasket and ARP2000 head studs, to slighlty drop compression and get the motor ready to be supercharged later this year!
Any how, we’ve been fine tuning the set-up and the car should be 100% by next week. The fuel system caused us some issues — both the in-tank and upgraded external fuel pumps took a dump on me. After that the motor started running wierd the other day, and we ended up pulling a code for the Vanos unit. Nevertheless, the car is a total animal! Much quicker then my previous bolt-on s52 e30!»
